High Theta - Vice President External

The High Theta serves as Second Vice President of the Chapter and shall assist the High Beta in the performance of his duties, and in the absence or disability of the High Beta, he shall succeed to his powers and duties. He shall be Chairman of the Committee on Public Relations to his Chapter. He shall be responsible for areas in the Standards for Chapter Excellence that deal with public relations and community service. He shall have such further powers and duties as may be prescribed by the Chapter in its Bylaws. Some of the Theta’s duties are listed below.

Duties:

• Vice President in charge of Community Service and Relations
• Responsible for Chapter public relations
• Serves as High Beta in the event of his absence or illness
• Serves on Executive Committee as a non-voting member
• Responsible for Watermelon Bash (National Fraternity community service event)
• Responsible for fall community service day
• Coordinates involvement in Lambda Chi Alpha’s North American Food Drive
• Responsible for all publicity concerning community service events
