As a fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha teaches excellence through balance. At a college setting this includes maintaining a balanced academic career. At Epsilon-Eta we pride ourselves on campus involvement and academic excellence. Many of our members take up leadership positions in campus clubs. We continue to have leadership in countless other organizations on campus including ultimate frisbee team, Ski team, Rensselaer electric vehicle, student government, pep band and many more. Not only do we have great involvement in campus activities but we also maintain an average GPA well above the Rensselaer average. Just this past Fall 2020 (waiting on an updated grade report from Rensselaer), we achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.48, which ranked 1st among fraternities.

Part of our academic excellence stems from our great advisor support. Epsilon-Eta is proud to have to heavily-involved faculty Prof. Roger Grice, ThU 426, and Prof. Johnson Samuel, Chi 1890. Prof. Grice serves as High Pi, Chapter Advisor, of Epsilon-Eta and provides academic counseling for brothers. Prof. Samuel focuses on leadership development within the chapter and close collaboration with the High Sigma, academic chair. In his first years at RPI, Prof. Samuel has already implemented a leadership development system within Epsilon-Eta to give all brothers a chance to lead a team and to learn about their strengths and weaknesses as leaders. Our last advisor, Geoff Seber, EH 1250, works within Rensselaer’s Alumni division and has played a great role in providing planning and organizational support for the brothers. His great work has earned him Rensselaer’s Greek Advisor of the Year award.
