Relay for Life Fundraising

Every year Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute hosts a Relay for Life walk in the Armory. Lambda Chi Alpha has been a part of this relay for many years and hosts various events throughout the semester to raise money for the American Cancer Society. This year the brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha have planned on bringing back many of those past events. Our weekly event to help raise money is called "Lambda Cocoa" where free hot chocolate is given out to students in return for donations to our relay for life total.  In addition to this, the brothers plan to bring back the very successful "Fat Sandwiches" philanthropy event from the Spring 2016 semester. This event raised over $1000 for cancer research in a short 2 hours. Two separate dates are being planned for this event with an increased supply of food and more volunteers to help raise money. In addition to these events, brothers will be canning outside stores, raising money on their own, and a host of other things in order to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Help us reach our Goal of $6000 this year by donating below!

The event was a success and is being brought back for the Spring 2017 semester. Brothers give out free hot chocolate to members of campus in hopes to raise money for Relay for Life. If you'd like some free hot chocolate, stop by our table on campus between the hours of 10am & 2pm on Mondays. If you would like make a donation to our Relay for Life fund, click the link below.
