Brotherhood Appreciation Lunch 2026
Last week, we hosted our third annual Brotherhood Appreciation Lunch! This event gives us the opportunity to step back and celebrate the individuals who go above and beyond to strengthen our chapter every day.
From leadership and mentorship to service and behind-the-scenes dedication, each recognition reflected the impact our brothers make both within the fraternity and in the broader community. It was a great reminder of what makes our brotherhood special: commitment, accountability, and support for one another. Congratulations to everyone who was recognized, and thank you to all who continue to make our chapter better.
February 2026 Brother of the Month: Justin Manion
Congratulations to Justin Manion, a senior Computer Science major, on being named Epsilon-Eta’s Brother of the Month for February!
Justin has served the chapter in several roles, including High Gamma (Secretary). As his leadership term came to a close, he continued his involvement by stepping into the role of Director of Logistics on the Recruitment Committee.
Justin also serves as the chapter’s Webmaster, ensuring the website stays current while helping to share the story of Epsilon-Eta Zeta through the articles and updates he posts (though thankfully someone else is writing this one).
Justin has stepped up whenever the brotherhood needs support, whether showing up to clean the house, recruitment events, or simply being someone the chapter can rely on. A quiet contributor, his consistency and reliability has left a lasting impact on the chapter and make him truly deserving of this recognition.
Congratulations, Justin, and thank you for everything you do for EHZ.
Spring 2026 Bowls on Sunset
Recently, in collaboration with Phi Kappa Theta, we hosted Bowls on Sunset! Bowls is an event where members come together to satisfy late-night cravings by delivering fresh bowls of food to students across campus. All proceeds went to Hope 7, a local food pantry that provides meals and essential resources to individuals and families in our community.
In addition to the proceeds raised, all leftover food was prepared and delivered to Hope7.
Thank you to everyone who ordered bowls and helped support a great cause!
Back to Our Roots
Our Associate Members visit the site of our former chapter house!
A Brief History:
Our chapter called 243 Hoosick Street home from 1940 to 1971. What once stood as our chapter house is now the site of the Hilton Garden Inn, where a plaque inside commemorates our history.

Spring 2026 Rush Recap
This rush was built on months of preparation, beginning with a seminar from alumnus and former Recruitment Chairman Jonah Mudse (EH 1438), who shared his experience and guidance with the chapter.
This semester’s theme was Patagonia, and with a variety of events (and, of course, plenty of food), there was something for everyone! We hosted several events at our house including Chick-fil-A & Game Night, Steaks and Shakes w/ Mini Golf, NFL Tailgate, and Casino Night. Off-campus, we took a trip to The Bunker, and to Sky Zone!
A special thank you to Ethan Aspiras (EH 1489) for designing the calendar, and to Madhav Kulkarni (EH 1557) for designing the event advertisements!
Please welcome our 19 new members! We can’t wait to see the mark they’ll leave this semester and beyond.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our Recruitment Chair, Chad Lewandowski (EH 1558) and his committee, whose efforts made this rush one to remember.
Thank you to everyone who our attended our events, we’re looking forward to another great semester ahead!
January 2026 Brother of the Month: Tijsen Moses
Congratulations to Tijsen Moses, EHZ’s Brother of the Month!
Tijsen, a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering, played a key role in the success of our Spring Rush and recently stepped into the Publicist sub-officer position. Beyond EHZ, he serves as President of both the Ski Team and the Cycling Club. We’re proud to recognize Tijsen for his hard work and leadership this semester. Congratulations, Tijsen!
Jason Zhang Wins Severino Center Problem Pitch Competition
Last month, Brother Jason Zhang won the Problem Pitch Competition hosted by the Severino Center!
His winning pitch tackled a critical bottleneck in the future of nuclear infrastructure: the lack of efficient spent nuclear fuel transportation. By addressing this deficit, Jason’s solution has the potential to create global impact across clean energy, heavy industry, and long-term sustainability efforts.
Congratulations, Jason!
Max Bast and Ethan Reid Elected to the IFC Council
Congratulations to Brothers Max Bast and Ethan Reid on their election to the IFC Council!
Max will serve as Executive Vice President, and Ethan as Vice President of Recruitment. Their elections come at a pivotal moment for RPI’s Greek Life community, which continues to navigate uncertainty surrounding administrative policy shifts, recruitment expectations, and the long-term framework for chapter operations.
In stepping into these roles, Max and Ethan will play a key part in providing stability, representing chapter interests, and helping guide the IFC through this transitional period. Their leadership will be instrumental in shaping a sustainable and successful future for Greek Life at RPI.
Congratulations, brothers! We are excited to see the impact you will make.
Congratulations to the Fall Class of 2025!

Pumpkin Bash 2025
Last weekend, we hosted our annual Pumpkin Bash event, this year with an exciting twist!
Pumpkin Bash
In the afternoon, we held our traditional events, including pumpkin bashing, a pie-eating contest, and the pumpkin dump.
Pumpkin Bash festival
At night, we hosted the first-ever LXA x GZ Basement Pumpkin Bash Festival! The event featured four bands, a costume contest, and other fun festivities.
Altogether, we raised $1,170 for Hope 7, our local community center. All of the day’s events were organized by our High Theta (External Vice President), Ethan Reid, who did an outstanding job. All photos were captured by brother Jason Zhang. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support a meaningful cause and share in the fun!
